Polished Barite Pseudomorph - Extra Bright Red Fortification

This Barite Pseudomorph comes from Utah. This psedomorph has extra bright red fortification with green in the center and real nice blades surrounding the outside. The polished face shows a few fracture lines but it's very sturdy and the back is natural. This pseudomorph is a very Rare formation, where barite is replaced with agate, in this case red agate. You can still see the large detailed barite crystal blades, but its not barite- its agate! Nice unique specimen from the yellow cat flats area in Utah, likely the only place in the world where such a unique specimen is found! This is a very nice specimen from a very old collection.
